Join us for adult volleyball in Port Townsend!

We are looking for people of all skill levels with a desire to have fun and/or improve their game. 

Some experience and a basic knowledge of the rules is helpful, but not necessary. 

We play in the gym at Blue Heron Middle School on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-9:00.  

2 nets on Tuesdays allows for all skill levels and Thursdays are for more competitive advanced players. 

There is a $3.00 charge each night. For more information, email treegoddessgirl@gmail.com

YMCA Middle School Tennis Lessons

Ages 8 - 14

Wednesdays 2:30-3:30 pm

October 21 - December 9 Mountain View gym & tennis courts
Middle School Tennis Players of all levels are welcome to participate in this eight-week session at the Mountain View gym and courts. We'll teach beginners the basics of the game and introduce them to friendly match play. 

Intermediate and advanced level players will improve their strokes and learn advanced shots and match play. $45/session. Parents welcome to participate with volunteer/release form. Equipment is provided. 

Enrollment is still open. 

Blue Heron students can take bus 202 to Mountain View.

 

K-3 Students Quickstart Tennis


Grades K-3 students are invited to YMCA Quickstart Tennis on Wednesdays from 1:30-2:30 pm. $40/session.

Pilates® at the YMCA

The Pilates Classes in the YMCA Classroom, Lower Level, behind the Pool

The Pilates® Method of physical conditioning is a balance of strengthening and stretching to create better posture, reduce stress, and improve endurance.

Consistent practice of these exercises can lengthen and strengthen muscle structure and help to build a strong core, which in turn will make movement easier in your daily activities.

Option B: After-School Child Care & Winter & Spring Break all-day Child care

Save Money on Child Care!
  • All fees listed are monthly EFT (discounted) rates. EFT/Automatic Payment Form
  • Families not on EFT (automatic withdrawal) pay an additional $8 monthly bookkeeping fee.
  • Additional enrolled siblings receive a $10 discount on monthly fees
  • Full-time fees are not prorated. Rates are billed at the same price each month and are based on an average month of 18 service days (individual months will vary) and run as low as $2.27 per hour.
  • Part-time rates are prorated for the months of December, April and June.                                                             (Please be aware June's prorate may change if days are added to the last week of school.)
  • Fees are valid for the 2009-2010 school-year
  • Please note after October 31st, families may not change child care options.

Payment Policy

  • Payments are due on the first of each month. You will not get a "reminder" so please make arrangements to have payments made on time.
  • For those of you using our easy and convenient bank draft (EFT) system, we recommend choosing a day prior to the first day of the service month to ensure your payment is never late should there be a problem with your account.
  • If payment is received between 1 and 5 days late, a $25 late payment fee will be added to child care fees. If payment has not been made after 5 days, child care services may be suspended until account is brought up-to-date.
  • Please note returned draft processing fees are separate from late child care fees.

Jefferson County Family YMCA EXPEDITION CLUB

Expedition Club Instructor: Robbie Roberts

Robbie Roberts founded the YMCA Expedition Club, which exposes Jefferson County youth to the outside world through the “Urban Plunge”, where groups of students spend three days with the homeless on the streets and in the homeless shelters of Seattle. He also initiated the Pha Pang, Thailand Global Community Program that has taken 80 students in the last four years to teach English and exchange culture with villagers in Northern Thailand. 

This program is offered in partnership with the Jefferson County Family YMCA
